With just five games remaining in the regular season and virtually no way the Thunder can move up or down the playoff ladder in the Western Conference, it might be easy to look ahead to the postseason. Tonight the Oklahoma City Thunder will face off against the Denver Nuggets. This week the head coach, Billy Donovan, of the Thunder has been stressing focus and intensity since they will be on Nuggets home court. Even though the Thunder are already in the playoffs their coach is telling his players that they can't get distracted and every game is a chance to get better and improve. The Thunder are looking to improve in 3 different areas on the floor; turnovers, transition defense and offensive rebounds. All of these were huge factors in the loss against the Houston Rockets. Denver is a team that loves to run up and down and they pound the glass whenever the chance comes. The Thunder's coach said that their half court game is good, but they need to focus more on getting up and down. If the Thunder focus and keep trying to win every game, they should come up with the win tonight, but it'll be tough considering it will be on Denver's home court. If the Nuggets win tonight it will be a big booster and they will have momentum for their team for their upcoming games.
